Philately:After a first special operation Chartres en lumière in 2016, a second booklet of stamps around the Chartrain event is published this year, in partnership with La Poste. Eight emblematic places of the city’s heritage, illuminated for the occasion, are honored in this limited edition, printed in 5,000 copies: the royal portal of the cathedral and two viewpoints of the northern portal, the church of Saint -Pierre, the theater of Chartres, as well as two illustrations of the Quai Gloriette and the Halle Billard.
The booklet of stamps, sold for €13, is available in all post offices in Eure-et-Loir, but also from postmen.
