The elementary school of the Auditorium carries out all week, for all classes, an initiation project to street art.
Monday and Tuesday, the two classes of CE2 benefited in the morning from a theoretical part on the history of graffiti and the methods to make it.
They learned to make shapes to write their first name and pass an underlay on the low wall that serves as a support,”
reports one of the teachers.
They also chose the words that symbolize the values that affect them and appear on the wall: solidarity, happiness, love and freedom.
Mathieu and Tom, from the Rennes association Roazhon colors, explain: We intervene in schools, structures to share a passion and know-how. We are here to initiate and explain the different worlds of street art.
The afternoon is devoted to practice. After a sketch of the shape of the letters, the two speakers explain the good gestures to fill them with the bomb. Two by two, the students give colors to the words they have chosen. This practical part is an approach to know the material and test it.
For the other classes, Thursday and Friday, a one-hour activity is planned.
