On Wednesday March 31, in the foyer of the boarding school of the Julien-Wittmer high school in Charolles, the pupils elected “eco-delegates” gave Vanessa, education assistant, a connected watch. She is the winner of the “plastic bottle recycling” campaign. With the code leading to the Snapchat social network, Vanessa took a picture of all the bottles she placed in the establishment’s container.
As part of the Eco-delegate approach, the six high school students from the Champagny site elected at the start of the school year, supervised by Stéphanie Dera, senior education advisor, have committed to eco-responsible action programs: recycling of plastic bottles and organic chocolate tastings in partnership with Epivrac, the municipality’s organic and bulk grocery store. The manufacture of insect hotels, which will be placed on the three sites of the establishment, is finalized.
“Once again this year, our eco-delegates carried out their actions well to raise awareness and mobilize all high school students. Some projects could not be carried out due to the health context ”, regrets Laurent Joly, interim headmaster.
