“I didn’t travel to make a record. But in that place, everything inspired. I liked the energy and I wanted to compose and get together with some musicians to do something”, Charly said in an interview.
The original idea for the cover photo was to spray paint the phrase “Nuevos ragos” on a wall, because that’s what the album was going to be called. But as soon as García and Sagramoso saw the black silhouette painted by Hamilton, they decided that the Argentine should sit on the floor to take a portrait.
Anecdotally, it later turned out that next to the silhouette someone had written the words “Modern Clix”, so Charly immediately changed the title of the album and named it modern clicks.
