Charlotte.- One in five people who have died as a result of a coronavirus infection in and around Charlotte is of Hispanic origin.
The Mecklenburg health authorities released statistics on the impact of the pandemic in the county, which reveal that 21 percent of pro-COVID-19 deaths among the community have been Hispanic, as well as 1.9 percent of those killed in nursing homes or nursing homes.
