The Dutch DSM rider has overtaken Anniina Ahtosalo (Uno X) and Elisa Balsamo (Lidl) in the final metres. Usoa Ostolaza and Ane Santesteban (Laboral Kutxa) have entered the peloton, and her teammate Cristina Tonetti leads the mountain classification.

The Dutch cyclist of the team DSM Charlotte Kool ha cattle the First stage of the 2024 Tour de Francethis Monday, in the sprint, in The Hague, and, consequently, it is leader of the general classification of the race. Kool has overtaken, in the last meters of the day, Anniina Ahtosalo (Uno X) already Elisa Balsamo (Lidl-Trek). Usoa Ostolaza and Ane Santestebanof the Laboral Kutxa-Fundación Euskadihave entered the peloton, with the same time as the winner, and her teammate Cristina Tonetti leads the mountain classification at the end of the first day of the race.
Tonetti has managed to wear the mountain jersey by being the protagonist of the stage breakaway, in which he has added two points for that classification, in the debut of the Basque team in the Tour de France; in addition, Yurani Blanco has climbed onto the podium as the most combative rider of the day. There were no differences between the riders who are trying to enter the fight for the general classification; the stage, which began in Rotterdam and ended in The Hague, was resolved in a mass finish, in which the Dutch rider from DSM was the fastest.
This Tuesday, the 13th, the second and third stages will be held. The second, in the morning, has 67.9 kilometersand will link the towns of Dordrecht and Rotterdam; the third, which will take place in the afternoon, is a 6.3 kilometer time trialin Rotterdam, which will establish the first differences between the favourites.
