Charlotte Casiraghi with black pumps and a mini suit redefines the idea of classic elegance, perfect for young women
Among all the midi hemlines of the Monaco National Day 2023, there are those who opted for a miniskirt. It’s Charlotte Casiraghi who caught the attention in black pumps and a tweed suit by Chanel. In fact, we usually see her portrayed with long dresses and trousers that cover her legs, but on this occasion she is so formal and instead decided to dare with a look young adult. With this styling choice, the royal has modernized the crown accustomed to a more classic elegance, like Beatrice Borromeo with her red velvet suit by Dior, Charlène of Monaco with a corolla coat matching her suede boots or Tatiana Casiraghi in coordinated check by Emilia Wickstead (brand worn several times by Kate Middleton).

Charlotte Casiraghi with black pumps and a miniskirt coordinated with the box jacket (complete with 4 patch pockets) gave a twist to European royal fashion: she cleared the hemline that reveals the knees, posing in the front row alongside her children Raphaël and Balthazar. To underline the wasp waist, a black leather belt with chain buckle that recalls the iconic shoulder bag. We called it a look young adult because of the short and jaunty skirt, in a comfortable dark red tweed (which last year, precisely for the Monaco National Day, she had proposed in the form of a check for the gala dinner).

But she is not the only royal to have dared: Alexandra of Hanover, the only daughter born from the marriage between Caroline of Monaco and Ernst August of Hanover, posed with a little black dress with a miniskirt cut on the bias which makes it fluttery. The royal look was completed with a tailored jacket placed on her shoulders (like a true fashionista), a pair of sheer tone-on-tone tights and patent leather T bar shoes. Together with her sister Charlotte Casiraghi, she launched the new fashion young adult.
