There are few who have found their place in the starry sky as quickly as Charlie D’Amelio (17). She bears the title as “the queen of TikTok”, and is followed by a staggering 124.4 million at the time of writing.
As if that’s not enough, her followers are growing at record speed.

The huge success, which started with dance videos from the girls’ room, has reached the whole world, and not long ago she got her own reality series, “The D’Amelio Show”.
Here you follow the 17-year-old closely, but also her sister Dixie (20) and her parents Heidi (49) and Marc (52), who of course also enjoy Charlis’ success.
They may not be as big stars as her, but there is little doubt that they too have gained star status over the past year and a half. Among other things, Dixie has released several songs.
In connection with the family’s TV series, which in Norway is broadcast on Disney plus, Dagbladet had the opportunity to interview the four-leaf clover.

When asked how life has changed from the time people started noticing them and the following grew, to today where they have settled in Los Angeles and are at celebrity parties, Charli does not hide that much has happened.
– It is sick to see how far we have come and how much our lives have changed – even just in the last few months, Charli says to Dagbladet, and continues:

– I feel that every day we grow as people, and our everyday life changes.

However, the 17-year-old admits that it is not always easy, especially with millions of fans.
– Sometimes you have a bad day, and sometimes you do not want to talk to anyone and keep to yourself. For me in particular, I use to be more insecure when I talk to people, she says, and continues:

– Getting used to it has been extremely difficult for me, but I learn every single day how to do this. That’s what the program shows – us who figure out how to do this together.
– How has the success affected the family?
– Everything we do has in a way changed. But we are still a family that is together, doing everything. We have not changed as people even though our lives have changed, so then it does not feel so drastic, big sister Dixie answers.

Charli, who says that she had achieved most of what she envisioned in life when she turned 16, points out that despite the fact that life took an abrupt turn, she lives in many ways as before.
– There are obviously things that are different, but I go to the center, shop and go out to dinner with the family. There is so much that is the same, and I am grateful for that – that I get to do such things.
The criticism hails from vaccine refusal
Dixie says that she also tries to live as normally as possible, but that she really wants to use the opportunities she has been given to do something more.

When asked by the parents if they can afford the daughters, Marc answers:
