King Charles could recruit his sister Princess Anne to sort things out with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, according to a royal insider.
The 75-year-old monarch is battling an undisclosed form of cancer amid estrangement from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who live in Montecito, California.
And as King Charles undergoes cancer treatment, royal columnist Sarah Vine claims 73-year-old Princess Anne is the ‘secret weapon’ that could bring the family together.
He believes Princess Anne is the answer to all the royal family’s problems, according to the Express.
“I think we should send Princess Anne to deal with Harry and Meghan Markle. If I were the king I would say Anna, please go and deal with them».
Princess Anne is one of the hardest working members of the family and has always had a soft spot for her nephew.
Mad About ‘Spare’
However, she is said to have been furious with what Prince Harry has done, including his 2023 memoir ‘Spare’.
Royal expert Jennie Bond told OK! last year that even though Prince Harry wrote negative things about his family in the book, she will always love him.
“Princess Anne is a very simple and raw person. He says what he thinks, he doesn’t pretend. She probably looks like her late mother, Queen Elizabeth,” he notes.
But she was absolutely furious with Prince Harry for causing her mother and grandmother so much grief in her final years.
“She’s angry about the damage she’s done to the royal reputation because she works so hard,” Jennie Bond pointed out.
