Like all other major video game franchises, Super Mario is being adapted into film by the studio Lighting. Unfortunately, Charles Martinet, the original voice of Mario in games it looks like he won’t be coming back for this future project like Nintendo he has not been contacted recently.
In the words of Martinet:
“Well, the movie looks like something great, very funny and if I am invited to participate in it, I will do it with a lot of joy and happiness.
It must be something amazing, you know, whatever Enlightenment touches makes it fun and so does Nintendo.
It is also possible that the Large N nor has the production company made a decision regarding the voice casting. In addition, let us remember that Hollywood has a bad habit of replacing video game actors with more well-known celebrities, as happened recently with Jack Black, who will be the voice of Hello in the movie Borderlands.
