Charles III displayed his first Christmas card as monarch

Buckingham Palace has released an image of King Charles III of Great Britain’s first Christmas card as monarch.

Features a photo of the monarch as crown prince with his wife Camilla at the Braemar Games in Scotland, Reuters reported.

The games are celebrations of traditional Scottish racing and dancing, which take place in the village of Braemar, west of Aberdeen, adjacent to the royal palace at Balmoral, writes BTA.

The photograph chosen by King Charles III and his queen consort Camilla was taken on September 3 this year. Queen Elizabeth II, who lost games for the first time in her 70-year reign, died a few days later.

Prince Harry: They were willing to lie to protect my brother, but not tell the truth to protect us

Prince Harry hints in a new trailer for the remaining episodes of the Netflix documentary series about his life with his wife Meghan that the British royal family was willing to lie to protect his older brother, Prince William, Reuters reported.

The main focus of the first three episodes of the long-awaited documentary was the treatment of the couple by the British tabloid press and how this affected their relationship.

The royal family has been primed for fresh criticism after the couple launched sharp attacks on some of its members, including King Charles and Crown Prince William, most notably in last week’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.

While the first few episodes didn’t drop any new “bombshells” on the royal family, in a new trailer shared on Twitter by Netflix ahead of the release of the remaining three episodes, Harry talks about “institutional manipulation.”

“They were willing to lie to protect my brother, but not tell the truth to protect us,” says Harry.

At one point, Meghan added: “I wasn’t thrown to the wolves, they fed me.”

Buckingham Palace has said it will not comment on the series. According to Netflix, the royals declined to comment on the series. However, according to a royal source, neither the palace nor representatives of Prince William or other royals have been contacted.
