After the exit of Xavi Simons, PSV hoped to strengthen itself with De Ketelaere, who has had a disappointing first season at Milan. The ED states that Atalanta is ‘promising’. Earlier, the regional newspaper reported that the club is interested in De Ketelaere.

In any case, there is no chance that De Ketelaere will come to PSV, which is a blow to Peter Bosz’s team. PSV still has a month to recruit a replacement for the departed Xavi Simons.
Update: Fabrizio Romano now reports that Atalanta Bergamo and AC Milan have already reached an agreement on the loan of Charles De Ketelaere. The Belgian himself still has to figure it out with the club of Marten de Roon and Teun Koopmeiners. De Ketelaere also had ears for PSV, but Milan prefers to keep him in the A league.
