The long-awaited first trailer for Chariot, starring two-time Oscar nominee John Malkovich, has been released online. The film is set to hit theaters and on-demand on April 15. Here are the first images of the sci-fi film directed by Adam Sigal, which brings together a diverse cast.
Sigal wrote and directed the film, in which Malkovich stars as Dr. Karn, a weird and eccentric specialist who guides unsuspecting patients through the transition of reincarnation.
A young man named Harrison (Thomas Mann) has several recurring dreams and decides to turn to Doctor Karn and reveals to him an encounter with a woman (Rosa Salazar) he loved in a past life.
However, a technical problem threatens to ruin everything and permanently mark the future of his patient.
Thomas Mann is best known for his starring role in a film that premiered at the Turin Film Festival a few years ago – you can find a review of That Fantastic Worst Year of My Life on our site – and also took part in the colossal Kong: Skull Island.
Oscar nominee John Malkovich is one of the most popular actors on the international film scene, known for films such as Being John Malkovich, Burn After Reading and most recently the Netflix comedy series Space Force.
Last year, Malkovich waived Inferno for the theater, saying Dante’s language is too difficult.
