Specifically, it concerns the standard rates in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland. In France, this rate remains unchanged. The rate for the United Kingdom will be adjusted on September 1. For season ticket holders, the rates will go up in all countries on Monday.

Anyone who connects their electric car in Belgium to Fastned’s fast chargers will now pay 0.75 euros per kilowatt hour. That is almost 9 percent more than the previous rate (0.69 euros per kilowatt hour).

For membership holders, the rate in Belgium will rise by more than 11 percent, from 0.45 to 0.5 euros per kilowatt hour. The price of a subscription remains unchanged at 11.99 euros per month.

This is the second price increase ever at Fastned: in November the standard price went from 0.59 to 0.69 euros per kilowatt hour (+17 percent).

Fastned currently has thirteen fast charging stations in Belgium, all of which are located in Flanders. In addition, 22 additional locations are under construction.
