Several cars were involved in a serious traffic accident at Jessheim on Thursday, which resulted in a woman in her 50s losing her life. One person is now charged with negligent homicide, according to Romerike blad.
– On the background of the investigation so far, one person has been charged. He has been admitted to Ullevål hospital and has not yet been questioned. We have routinely taken blood samples, says police attorney Kristin Aabelvik Evensen in the Eastern police district to the newspaper.
The accused is still seriously injured after the accident, the police say.
In addition, two people were slightly injured. The police currently know little about the course of events.
– It appears that a car has lost control and got into the oncoming lane, said operations manager in the Eastern police district, Finn Håvard Aas to TV 2 on Thursday.
According to Romerike magazine, no interrogation of the accused is currently planned.
– It is uncertain when interrogations can be carried out. However, we plan to question the other two today, the police attorney explains.
