For 8 years, it has been Champniers, a few tens of kilometers fromAngoulême, that traditionally end Country Producer Markets organized by the Chamber of Agriculture and the town hall.
But this year, as special as it is, the event continues until the end of October. As a result, if the Charente municipality once again welcomes the Country Producers Market, it will not be the last town to receive producers.
About forty exhibitors
“Les Marchés de Producteurs de Pays” is a trademark of the Chambers of Agriculture. These markets bring together only and exclusively local producers, all committed to respecting a charter of good practices, wishing to offer guarantees for consumers.
And once is not customary, it is at the Près de l’Or, at 6 pm that the festivities will begin on August 27th.
Nearly 40 producers will be present to help people discover or rediscover the riches of the Charente region. “They are essentially producers of mouths who take part in the Markets of Country Producers. Wine, pineau, snail, meat or even fruits and vegetables, all the products on sale are entirely local ”, indicates Michael Laville, the mayor of Champniers.
User-friendliness and health pass
Products from producer to consumer, guaranteed by a charter with the added bonus of conviviality and exchange as a key word.
“A restaurant area and a music group will be installed on the site so that consumers can taste the products they have purchased. However, this place will be delimited and subject to the restrictions of the health pass, ”specifies Michael Laville.
