In the context of the coronavirus covid-19 epidemic, blood collection must continue to meet the needs of patients. Thus, the French Blood Establishment awaits you in collection.
The EFS is sounding the alarm and appealing to all goodwill. To know that to donate blood: you must be of age and be between 18 and 70 years old. A woman can donate blood 4 times a year, a man 6 times, respecting a period of at least 8 weeks between each collection. Group O donors, known as “universal donors”, are particularly sought after.
Remember that donating blood only takes about forty-five minutes, from the reception to the snack, and that the sample itself lasts only ten minutes. Stocks are at their lowest, everyone’s mobilization saves lives!
