Characteristics of People Who Can Donate Blood Plasma to Covid-19 Drugs

The NHSBT added they wanted the people most likely to have the antibodies in their plasma, meaning those who had recently recovered from the disease.

Meanwhile, people with the following conditions are prohibited from donating blood plasma

1. Currently receiving certain medical or hospital care
2. Are currently taking certain medications
3. Recently traveled to a specific destination
4. Recently had a tattoo or piercing
5. Not feeling well on the day of donation
6. Suffering from cancer
