The episode will also focus on Kuma and his past, and the narration will take us to God Valley which was razed from the map following bloody clashes between Gold Roger et Rocks. Readers will witness the death of Kuma’s father. The race of the former Grand Corsair will also be revealed. Moreover, the theory according to which there was a link between Garling and Shanks seems to be gaining momentum. With recent leaks, it risks being confirmed in the next chapter 1095.

Bonney had attacked Saint Saturn in his form of the mysterious Zoan. The chapter begins when the Vice Admirals are preparing to help Saturn, so in great difficulty against Bonney. However, Saturn disagrees and orders them to stand down. Saturn indeed has a sword stuck in his body by Bonney. He manages to extract it from his stomach and his blood disappears as if by magic. Saturn then surprises Bonney and Sanji using one of the Devil Fruit’s powers.

Kuma and Sanji took a nasty hit and blood came from their heads. At the same time, Kizaru apologizes to his superior while he is on the ground. Saturn replies that he is slower than usual, before attempting an attack on Luffy, saved in extremis by Franky thanks to his arm extension. Kuma’s past is heavy. A new flashback from 38 years ago also tells us that celestial dragons descend from Mary Geoise every three years to hunt humans on an island that is not under the authority of the World Government. Slaves are freed before eliminating them and thus claiming their territory. In the year of turning back the clock, the celestial dragons attack God Valley, West Blue. The King of the island tried to stop the invasion but was killed by a certain Saint Figarland. Saturn was also at God Valley the same year, but looked exactly the same. He himself learned that a buccaneer had been captured. The sequence ends with an image of Kuma being manhandled by other slaves. This flashback is a direct sequel to that of chapter 1074.
