Chaos shuts down Mi6 in both directions

There were several clashes on Mjøsbrua along the E6 early Friday morning, in connection with the recovery of a lorry, which was closing the lane in the direction of Moelv.

Shortly before seven o’clock the road is blocked in both directions at the construction site.

– Drive carefully, urges the Innlandet police district.

Three cars have so far been reported to have collided in the center of the bridge, but there could be more, operations director Terese Hoff Bilterud tells Dagbladet.

– We may not have an overview of everyone yet, it’s very close, says Bilterud.

In a message, the police wrote that the speed at the scene was too high and implored motorists to adjust their speed according to the conditions. It is said to be very slippery in the area.

No serious injuries were reported, says the director of operations.

– There is a standing queue. Ambulance and fire are coming to help, Bilterud says.

Long queues are also reported on the E18 in Telemark in the morning rush hour, after an accident between a plough, a lorry and a car at Telemarksporten.

No injuries were reported, but the entire camp was closed for a time northbound.

Trond Operations Manager Egil Groth in the Søreast Police District informs Dagbladet that all the vehicles escaped under their own power.

– Long lines have been reported, says Groth.
