The Belgian vaccination strategy looks very clear on paper: it is currently the turn of all over-65s and at-risk patients. A small opening was made for critical professions. They have been able to get their injection since the beginning of March, but only in exceptional cases. If there is a surplus somewhere, it can be put in the arm of a firefighter or police officer. However, we see something different in the field. In Liège, for example, 180 police officers were vaccinated at once on 10 March. On the same day, one in five syringes disappeared into the arm of a police officer in Bergen. And since then, the force has been vaccinated there at a rate of twenty officers a day.
