Ghufron reported Albertina to the KPK Council on suspicion of ethical violations. Albertina was reported after being deemed by Ghufron to have breached his authority as a member of the KPK Dewas in investigating reports of allegations of extortion against a former KPK prosecutor with the initials TI which were on the Dewas.

The report from Ghufron to Albertina raises several assumptions. This report is seen as an attempt to respond to Ghufron, who has yet to face an ethics issue related to the abuse of authority in the transfer process at the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan). The case will enter the ethics trial stage on May 2.

Ghufron claims KPK advice to PTUN

In addition to reporting Albertina to the KPK Council, Ghufron also sued the KPK Council at the Jakarta State Administrative Court (PTUN). Ghufron filed the lawsuit on Wednesday (24/4). The trial is registered with case number 142/G/TF/2024/PTUN.JKT.

KPK Council Chairman discusses Nurul Ghufron’s Report to Albertina Funny

Corruption Eradication Commission Council Chairman, Tumpak Hatorangan Panggabean considered KPK Deputy Chairman Nurul Ghufron funny after reporting on KPK member Dewas Albertina Ho. Tumpak said Albertina’s actions were based on a letter of assignment.

Tumpak confirmed that what Albertina did by requesting data information from PPATK was an action.

“He performed duties, collecting information, requesting data from PPATK. PPATK provided a legal basis. There (his assignment letter) was the work of the Dewas,” he said.

Albertina Ho also spoke out after Gufron informed the KPK Council. Albertina feels that the report by the Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Committee, Nurul Ghufron, is related to the ongoing ethical process.
