Thousands of young people turned out to catch a glimpse of the American celebrities, who have several million subscribers on YouTube.
According to the emergency manager, 70 people received health care and several young people have fainted. They had to get fluids, food and shade because of the hot weather and enormous pressure, according to task leader Monica Engebretsen.
– This is an event with security guards, but it went a little too far. We took measures but it was difficult to get control, she continues.
There were around 2,000 young people present, and more came. Several have fainted and received help on the spot.
– Were the police sufficiently prepared?
We weren’t really involved other than having patrols on site. This was an event run by an organizer, but we saw that we had to come in and assist.
The police are now in control of the scene.

More guards than usual
Varejo is behind the event. They have hired the security company Pro Sec, which runs high security at the event.
– We provide 17 guards. That is three times as many as we usually have at such “sampling events”.
