When Chantal Poullain appears in public, she is crowded everywhere and her laughter echoes loudly in the room. With nobility and elegance, she moves in society like a true lady. The actress who exchanged France for life in the Czech Republic celebrated her 67th birthday in August, but few would have guessed this number. What is behind her youthful appearance? She also talked about this in an interview for eXtra.cz.

“I don’t do anything, but sometimes when I look at the camera, I think I should do something. Years go by, but I don’t make a big deal out of it. I think that age is not important, but what is inside is important. Beauty is not just that you don’t have wrinkles, but how you express yourself, how you live.” reveals his secret to a youthful appearance on the occasion of a gala dinner as part of Czech Mussel Week.

Chantal does not restrict himself in food

At the gala dinner, she showed off a great figure that many women would envy. However, Poullain does not limit himself when it comes to food, he has a particular weakness for seafood specialties. “The shells are mine. I love seafood, it’s my favorite food. Everything from the sea is healthy. Papete clams, oysters and all. It really is healthy and good.” recommend to everyone. She arrived at the event elegantly dressed – she wore a polka dot dress, which she complemented with a white bag and stylish black pumps.

She recently received a great honor when she received the Order of the Legion of Honor for bringing the Czech Republic closer to France. “I was very moved by it. It was a great honor for me and I did not expect it. It was a truly wonderful moment. This is actually how my whole life here in the Czech Republic was awarded,” she recalls a festive moment of her life. Her ex-partner Bolek Polívka accompanied her to the ceremony.

Her summer took place mainly in the spirit of work, she worked intensively on her new book and there was no space left for vacation. “I was only in Moravia, otherwise I didn’t get to do much,” confides. Of course, she also visited her beloved France, but only for five days.
