The national teams of Saudi Arabia and Iraq will meet today, Monday, in the second round of the first round of the ‘Gulf 25’ championship, which will be hosted by the Iraqi city of Basra until 19 January.
The Saudi team looks to qualify for the next round of Gulf Cup 25 as they hope to snatch match points to reach sixth point and secure qualification as they occupy the lead after defeating the Yemeni team 2-0.
While the ground-owning Iraq national team are eager to secure victory to preserve their title chances, following a goalless draw with Oman earlier in the tournament.
