Aurélie and Richard Fleury announced that for health reasons, they are obliged to end their activities. The couple are actively looking for a buyer, wanting at all costs to avoid a permanent closure of the only business in the village. (@La Presse de la Manche)
The little bakery-grocery store located on the place of Gatteville-le-Phare will close its doors and a buyer is actively sought. Last traders in the village, Aurélie and Richard Fleury, who have been at its head for several years, prepare their customers to stop their activity.
My husband is forced to give up his activity for medical reasons. We have been trying to adapt to this situation for several years, but we have an obligation to act. The doctors are clear, he must stop.
For the couple, this decision is a real heartbreak and each passing day brings them even closer to this fateful closing date set for March 15.

They are actively looking for buyers because they do not want to imagine that their business will definitely lower the curtain, when the activity is good and the cash flow healthy. “We have even hired an employee to ensure the sale in the morning while I take care of the tours”, underlines Aurélie Fleury, who travels the roads of Val de Saire aboard her truck-store to serve her loyal customers.
The business has therefore been put up for sale to numerous agencies, as well as to SOS Villages, the concept launched by TF1.
