The death of the three young people brings to 39 the victims of the asphalt in Crete since the beginning of the year, a frightening number!
It is recalled that the IX car in which the 4 young people, all Greeks between the ages of 18 and 23, collided at BOAK in the Galata area and under circumstances that are being investigated by the traffic police, with a minivan in which a total of 19 people were aboard.
From the collision, the occupants of the vehicle were trapped in the wreckage and the assistance of the Fire Department was needed to extricate them. 4 ambulances of the EKAV rushed to the scene, as well as a team of the BOAK Traffic Police.
As we wrote, the occupants of the minivan were not seriously injured, however they were taken to the Chania Hospital for precautionary reasons. It should be noted that there was also a family with small children in the van
