Changing the emergency plan… and an announcement from the Minister of Health!

The Minister of Public Health in the caretaker government, Firas Al-Abyad, held a meeting with the Parliamentary Health Committee led by MP Bilal Abdullah in Karantina, where the meeting discussed updates on the plan crisis prepared by the ministry as a result of the increase. attacks and the continued increase in the number of victims, injured, and displaced people.

Participants discussed the transparent method established by the Ministry to organize the receipt and distribution of aid according to needs.

In his statement after the meeting, Minister White praised the continued support provided by the Parliamentary Health Committee, particularly in providing the funds needed to increase services, particularly in the shelter centers where conditions are very difficult.

Al-Abyad confirmed that the health department, which makes sacrifices, is a stable department that is able to carry responsibilities, and will continue to do so.

He also mentioned the Israeli attacks targeting the health sector, where more than 150 paramedics and workers in this area were killed, as well as 13 hospitals being completely or partially destroyed. -out of service, and more than 130 ambulances were damaged.

Minister Geal confirmed that these attacks represent a serious violation of international laws, and he asked international organizations related to human rights and international laws to take a strong position in this regard . He expressed his hope that a quick solution would be reached that would stop the war on Lebanese society.

In a special statement to Sky News Arabia, the Minister of Public Health confirmed that the humanitarian aid that was under Israeli attacks was receiving international coverage, which shows the danger from the rise of Israel.

The minister noted that “Israel’s war machine shows barbarism and disrespect for international laws and norms,” ​​expressing his concern about the ongoing attacks on civilians and health infrastructure.

For his part, Dr. Bilal Abdullah praised the great efforts made by the Ministry of Public Health and the health department, which represents a humanitarian and national commitment.

He pointed out that the emergency plan drawn up by the Ministry since the beginning of the crisis has been successful, and Minister Al-Abyad was informed about more information about following this plan on the ground, and ways to deliver medicines to the displaced. through primary health care centers.

Abdullah also pointed out that the efforts that have been made require more allocation from the government, and he stressed that there is a debate to come on this issue, requesting on behalf of the Parliament’s Health Committee that they need a greater contribution get more to support Lebanon and the health sector. .

He expressed his call to all international organizations to stand with Lebanon on a humanitarian level, if they do not want to support it politically or prevent the barbaric attack of Israel.
