While the city center shuttle in Toulouse experiences diversions throughout the summer, the bus network as a whole is also impacted by a few changes for the start of the school year. Here is the detail.
Evolution sector by sector
Since the Monday, September 4, 2023, the bus network is evolving in the city center of the Pink City. In question, the works, among others, of the rue de Metz, but also of the Grande rue Saint-Michel. “This development makes it possible to offer a more efficient, more efficient service and to support the requalification of Grande rue Saint-Michel”, explains Tisséo.
To the northwest :
In the municipalities of Aussonne, Beauzelle, Colomiers and Seilh, the transport offer is reinforced with three regular lines which circulate all day and all year round from Monday to Friday and the on-demand transport service is evolving.
Bus line 71 is extended to the municipalities of Beauzelle and Seilh. Bus line 74, replacing line 17, is extended in the town of Mondonville. The new Bus line 75 provides access to Colomiers station from the towns of Mondonville and Cornebarrieu. In replacement of the TAD 118 & 120, two new TADs have been created: TAD 170 & TAD 171.
During the week, the TAD 170 complements the three regular lines. It provides service to part of the municipalities of Aussonne, Colomiers and Cornebarrieu. On weekends and in the evening, the relay is taken by the TAD 171 which serves all the stops in the municipalities of Aussonne, Cornebarrieu, Mondonville and Seilh.
West :
In this sector, new stops are created for better service to the districts of Colomiers and Plaisance-du-Touch.
Bus line 55 serves a new stop in Colomiers, Docteur Charcot, between the A.Perdiguier and Center de Tri Postal stops. Bus line 116 serves a new stop in Plaisance-du-Touch, Ardennes, between the Roussillon and Zoo Plaisance stops.
South :
Videos: currently on Actu
The service in this sector is reinforced with the creation of a new line and the extension of an existing line.
A new bus line, line 318, is being tested between the town of Lamasquère and Muret station. Bus line 320 is extended to Muret with a new Sans Soucis terminus.
Toulouse: Saint-Michel district, the route of the L4 is changing
To accompany the beautification of the Saint-Michel district, the Linéo L4 route has been modified with a new terminus at the Empalot metro station.
Line C works
Work on the new metro line C is progressing in the Bonnefoy, Toulouse Lautrec and Limayrac districts. To do this, lines 27, 37, 39, 41, the Navette Bonnefoy and the school lines serving the Lycée Toulouse-Lautrec, the Collège JP Vernant and the Lycée Caousou are affected.
