Belgium turns orange on the map of the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC). The Netherlands, Luxembourg and Spain are now colored red.
–
The ECDC publishes a weekly state of affairs of European travel destinations. This is done in the form of green, orange and red color codes on a card. Until this morning, Flanders was still green. But due to the increasing number of infections, the ECDC adjusted the color code for our country. The whole country now got orange.
The situation now also looks different for Spain. Until this morning, only a small part of Spain was red. The rest of the country was orange. Now Spain is completely red and large parts are even dark red. And our northern neighbors and Luxembourg also received red from the ECDC. Things are also looking worse in Latvia. There it went from green to orange.
In addition, Cyprus is no longer orange, but now turns red. Malta goes from green to red. And some overseas areas such as The Azores and Martinique also received red. Part of Croatia also gets orange. And a large part of Greece is now also turning orange.
Large parts of Sweden did get a green color again, but orange continues to apply in the north of the country. Southern Italy is also turning green again.
