Changes in Weather and a Transition to Cooler Temperatures: Weekend Forecast

We remain under the influence of a well-established ridge over France, but a cold drop located over Portugal is gradually moving northwards. A change in weather is therefore looming for the end of the weekend.

This Saturday morning

The sun does not take long to impose itself in the Loire sky. We just note the presence of a few clouds, rather discreet, south of the Loire.

The minimums range from 15 to 19 degrees, values above normal.

This Saturday afternoon

Sunny periods and high altitude clouds share the sky during the afternoon.

As the hours pass, the clouds become more threatening towards the ocean.

Temperatures are rising… once again: 34 or 35 degrees inland!

The atmosphere is a little more reasonable along the Atlantic coast with 28 or 29 degrees.

The Saharan sand cloud evacuates from the north and allows particle concentrations to drop across the entire region.

At the same time, ozone concentrations remain at high levels (linked to the heat wave).

The air quality index is therefore degraded this Saturday.

The trend for Sunday and Monday

A day of transition awaits us on Sunday.

The situation will be more unstable with alternating clearings and cloudy periods.

A few showers may occur here and there.

The heat episode should end on Monday.

An electric start to the week, but in a more breathable atmosphere than the last few days!

Minimums for Sunday: 18 to 20 degrees / maximums 25 to 30 degrees.

Minimums for Monday: 18 to 20 degrees / maximum 22 to 27 degrees.
