Changes in Top Management at Rolls-Royce: Torsten Müller-Otvjos Retires, Chris Brownridge Takes Over

The BMW Group announced changes in the top management of one of the companies under the brand’s umbrella. It is about Rolls-Royce and more specifically about the CEO of the brand – Torsten Müller-Otvjos. He will retire and step down from his position, with his replacement already selected.

He will be Chris Brownridge, who until now held the role of chief executive of BMW in the UK. He joined the company in 1995 and has held various roles within the organisation, including Sales Director of BMW UK and Regional Director of Mini for UK and Ireland.

“I am honored and pleased with my new appointment,” commented Brownridge. “To be invited to lead this great British marque at such a pivotal moment in its long and distinguished history is an extraordinary privilege. Rolls-Royce is one of the most recognizable, desirable and influential brands in the world and I am acutely aware of the enormous love and respect with which she enjoys.”

“Leading Rolls-Royce for almost 14 years has been the greatest privilege and pleasure of my professional life. Developing the company and its world-class employees to the position it holds today at the pinnacle of the luxury industry has been a remarkable adventure. I am proud of the role that my outstanding team and I have played in making a significant contribution to the UK economy and in the global recognition of Britain’s ability to produce the best luxury products in the world,” said Torsten Müller-Otvios, who can be boasted of being the brand’s longest-running boss to date.
