Changes in Dengue Fever Symptoms Linked to COVID-19 Pandemic: Ministry of Health

This is caused by the effect of an immunological reaction, as confirmed by the Director of Infectious Disease Prevention and Control (P2PM) at the Ministry of Health, Imran Pambudi.

“In fact, there are several reports that indicate that there are changes symptoms of dengue fever after the COVID-19 pandemic. “This is actually related to changes in immunological reactions that occur in the body of someone who has been infected with COVID-19,” Imran said in Jakarta, Friday, as reported by INTERPRETATION.

Imran said that the Ministry of Health had received several reports showing changes in symptoms in dengue victims after the pandemic. COVID 19one of them came from Bandung City, West Java.

“Red marks on the skin and nose are classic symptoms when platelets are less than 100,000 per microliter,” he said.
