The Notre-Dame des Miracles school complex will undergo some changes during the summer.
First, it is the grouping of the two entities of the school complex that will be the most visible. The school’s students will move into their new premises at the start of the 2023 school year. They are already familiar with their classrooms, having taken part in moving their belongings.
Parents pitched in
Parents of students took over when the students went on vacation. On the program: painting of classrooms and the refectory then moving of the school furniture to install the new primary classes.
The companies concerned have also come to help with this installation so that everything is ready to welcome the children in the best possible conditions. The coat racks are fixed, the outdoor display panel too, just like those which were in the hall of the rue Guillaume Duprat and which are now in the corridor of the ground floor of the rue du 8 Mai.
The second major change will be the arrival of Céline Naulleau at the head of the college. She met the team of teachers during the July pedagogical day and a tiling period was carried out with Frédéric Tabbi. Céline Naulleau was also able to meet some of the active members, volunteers or not of the school complex: presidents of OGEC and APEL, administrative and maintenance members, head of the school, parish priest …
The schedules for the whole school will be as follows at the start of the school year. For school: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m., and Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. For college: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:15 a.m. to noon and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
Schoolchildren will be released on the evening of June 28 for the summer holidays. Indeed, they will work an extra hour each week, which allows them to gain vacation days at the end of the year.
The arrival of Céline Naulleau, who is committed to working together with Blandine Demazoin, the merger of the two entities will allow a new dynamic and a new impetus for the Notre-Dame-des-Miracles school complex.
