change of perspective. With a wheelchair user through Vienna-Margarethen – Austrian Council for Disabled Persons

9. June 17:0019:00

On June 9, 2022, the photographer and Instagram blogger Evelyn Brezina will be walking in a wheelchair through her neighborhood in Vienna-Margareten.

Evelyn Brezina discovered her passion for photography early on, and Instagram turned her into a blogger and influencer. Ever since she posted her view of Vienna there – which is not just the result of the perspective from the wheelchair – a gateway to the world has opened up for her. Her images are regularly featured and exhibited by major platforms. She herself was invited by the UN to speak on the subject of accessibility. Her motto is to discover the extraordinary in everyday life, to inspire other people with it and perhaps also to infect her. The tour takes you through your neighborhood from the Wientalterrasse to the Margaretenhof and into the Schlossquadrat.

With Evelyn Brezina (@ViennaWheelchairView) and Christine Koblitz (Vienna Museum)

Meeting point: 1050 Vienna, Wientalterrasse (near U4 Pilgramgasse)

Duration: about 2 hours

The city tour only takes place when the weather is nice! (alternative date: Thursday, June 23, 5 p.m.)

Accompanying program as part of the exhibition “Moment! Street photography in Vienna
