The Japanese are very careful in presenting the productions for the coming months, but we already know some certainties that will provide players with many attractions.
Nintendo starts with known IPs…
Already in the second half of January, only on the Big N platform, it will debut Engage fire emblem. The game is another promising installment of the acclaimed series – this time players will have to stop the mighty Fell Dragon that has returned to the world. Those interested can count on another production overloaded with tactical duels, in which they will not fail to introduce friends and various mechanics of this universe.
In February, the premiere of the improved version will take place Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe. This is an updated edition of the 2011 production, which currently only debuted on Nintendo Wii and is the twelfth installment in the series. HAL Laboratory has been tasked to bring the game to the latest Nintendo console and surely some gamers will be happy to learn about the location, which offers co-op for up to four players.
In the third month of the year, Nintendo will offer players a third exclusive offer: Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon is a spin-off of the acclaimed series, thanks to which we will learn the history of the title character. PlatinumGames will provide fans of the IP with many attractions, because those interested will receive a specific dose of information about Cereza, an adept of dark magic, who will go by the name Bayonetta at some point.
For April, Nintendo has not yet confirmed any exclusive items, but we must not forget that the Japanese already had one ready Advance Wars 1 & 2: Restart the camp. The game couldn’t debut in 2022 due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, so it’s hard to say if Nintendo will decide to release the game in the first months of 2023: the title is waiting, it’s ready and it will go to the players at the right time . Isn’t Nintendo just games?
The premiere will also be a very important moment for Nintendo “Super Mario Bros. Movie”. The story developed by the creators of “Minions” looks great and I’m sure many gamers will decide to go to the cinema to see the new adventure of the popular Marian. This will be the first major story from a Japanese company to hit the big screen, but viewers can rest assured that this is just the beginning. Big N has created a special department whose job it will be to develop more stories… the question remains: who will be next? A series with Link as the protagonist or a colorful and pleasant animation with Kirby for the little ones? Nintendo has great opportunities to implement similar productions.
Speaking of Mario, I can’t forget the rumors that Nintendo is about to develop another full-fledged installment, but we can’t count on a quick announcement and premiere in this case. Even this company, in the case of such large productions, likes to announce the title much earlier in order to properly create hype and prepare players for the premiere. The situation is similar with Donkey Kong, which is also said to be in development, but the title has not yet been announced, although many players will surely be eager to know about this production.
According to some rumors, Nintendo may reach other items from its previous platforms (The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, Xenoblade Chronicles X), but we still have to wait for specific presentations. However, the situation with such updates is simple: Big N can show a game that will debut in a few months, so while we haven’t officially heard about the gems yet, productions can still debut in the market in 2023.
We can also safely assume that Nintendo has at least a few surprises planned. In recent years, the company hasn’t had any major problems with announcing new games that will hit the market soon. The Japanese are aware of the strength of their platform and sometimes do not decide on months-long marketing campaigns.

Nintendo Switch is also loved by third-party developers, who can not only upload their previously prepared productions to the console, but at the same time gladly use the support of Nintendo and offer games for temporary or complete exclusivity.
