Changan plans to launch a new crossover, which will be sold under a separate sub-brand, UNI. At the moment, the Chinese have published the first images of the new car, which will be called UNI-V. As reported Carscoops, the novelty will take place one step above the UNI-T model, which was presented at the beginning of this year and is aimed primarily at the youth audience.
Judging by the images, the novelty will inherit the features of the Vision-V Concept and the junior UNI-T. The car will receive narrow LED headlights, an intricately shaped radiator grille and an unusual spoiler with brake lights. The crossover lights are connected to each other using a special diode strip.
All technical details of the novelty are kept secret. As suggested Car News China, the car will be built on the basis of Changan CS95. The car will be equipped with a 2.0-liter petrol turbo engine with four cylinders, the power of the unit will be 233 hp. and 360 Nm of torque.The engine will work in conjunction with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The exact date of the UNI-V premiere has not yet been announced. Most likely, it will take place in the near future, since the start of sales of the crossover in the Chinese market is scheduled for the first quarter of next year.
The appearance of this new item on our market is still unknown. At the moment, the model range of the Chinese in Russia consists of five cars: CS35, CS75, CS55, CS35, CS 75FL Plus. The range of prices for cars is from 809,900 to 1,529,900 rubles. According to the Association of European Businesses (AEB), Changan sold 1,021 cars in Russia in September. This figure is 230% more than the figures for the same period last year.
