A video in which a motorist demonstrates the broken accelerator pedal of her Changan CS55 crossover has become popular on the Internet.
“Laugh now,” warns the woman, and shows a broken “gas” pedal. “It broke when I was trying to put the floor mat in place,” she explains.

Many netizens questioned the woman’s statement about the “plastic pedal”, but there is another video on the web of buyers checking out a brand new Changan CS55 Plus at a car showroom – this car also has an accelerator pedal “made of plastic”.
