Chancellor thanks presidential candidates for their support in the Ecuador case

This Tuesday, Foreign Minister Alicia Bárcena thanked the presidential candidates Claudia Sheinbaum and Xóchitl Gálvez, as well as the candidate Álvarez Maynez, for the unity shown by the political forces in the face of Ecuador’s violation of Mexican sovereignty.

In a first message, Bárcena expressed her gratitude to Sheinbaum for the recognition that the Morena candidate gave to the work of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and to the diplomatic corps of Mexico in Ecuador for their actions in response to the assault by the Ecuadorian police on the embassy.
