Chance Comanchewith a track record in G-League and a cameo in NBAand his girlfriend face murder charges after the body of Maryna Rodgers23, was found in the desert near Henderson, Nevadaas reported by some media such as The Athletic.
Comanche was arrested by FBI agents on Friday and accused of serious kidnapping in the first degree. The 27-year-old, who played for the Stockton Kings before fired after arrest, was a suspect in the disappearance of the young woman, who was last seen in Las Vegas on December 6. The Kings were in Nevada the night before she disappeared and played in Henderson, home of Ignite and about 20 minutes from Las Vegas.

As Vanessa Murphy indicates in 8 News Now“Police learned that Rodgers was out with friends on Dec. 5 and had a pre-arranged meeting with Harnden, who was bringing her boyfriend, according to a news release. Detectives suspected it was a trap. and obtained evidence to arrest Comanche and Harnden, police said.”
Rodgers had been in Las Vegas on a trip with friends and according to the reporter, There were no indications that the young woman wanted to abandon her life and his inner circle: “His loved ones told 8 News Now investigators that Rodgers had a good job and would never leave his family in Washington state or abandon his dogs that he had taken to Las Vegas” .

Comanche played for the Arizona Wildcats at university and He was not selected in the 2017 NBA draft..
