The coach Marcelo Chamusca, do Botafogo, approved the coach change limit in the Brazilian championship proposed by CBF and accepted by the clubs this Wednesday, in a meeting of the Technical Council. The black-and-white commander expects the measure to be adopted also in B series.

– It is a very interesting mechanism, I even think that the CBF should extend it to Serie B as well, which has the same regulation as Serie A. I don’t know why it will be done only in Serie A. As we have with athletes, it should be used some time ago. It gives a little more stability and working time for the coaches – said Chamusca.
The CBF holds this Thursday the meeting of the Technical Council of the Series B and the matter should be placed on the agenda. The limit is two coaches – the third may be a professional who has been with the club for at least six months. In addition, a coach can only resign once if he wants to train another team during the competition.

– It is more than proven, even scientifically, that there is no point in changing coaches, I don’t know how many times. The percentage of those who change to have a result is very low. Not to mention that the coach who arrives sometimes does not have the time necessary to implement any concept or game pattern. It can bring about a significant change and improve in all aspects, technical, tactical and mainly financial of the clubs – added Chamusca.
