Champion ratiopharm Ulm remains on the road to success with a flawless record and their fourth win in their fourth game early this season. The Swabians won 94:78 in Hamburg on Saturday. Five of the guests’ players scored double-digit points on the Elbe, the Towers remain in the bottom of the table with a win.

From there the Telekom Baskets Bonn left Ludwigsburg 91:86. The Champions League winner (2:2) had its top scorer in new signing Frey (24 points). The Rhinelanders laid the foundation for victory in the baroque city with a strong first quarter (22:11). The giants’ attack was ultimately unsuccessful.

Schröder’s lions lose

The Würzburg Baskets also got their second win of the season (2:1) with 84:76 against Schröder-Klub Braunschweig. The Lions (2:2) slipped behind the Mainfranken, who were able to turn the game around after a weak start and had the best points scorer in Washington (19).

The fourth game was a duel between two Neckar residents. Promoted Stories Tübingen hosted previously winless Heidelberg – and lost 84:94. Even Jackson’s gala points (26) for the home team could not prevent the defeat, which the Academics prepared with an intermediate spurt in Q2.
