The Group A match between Rangers and Napoli has been postponed for 24 hours since Tuesday due to limited police capabilities following the death of Queen Elizabeth II of England. The visiting supporters were unable to attend the match and, in the interest of fair play, Rangers fans will also be unable to attend the duel in Naples.
Both sides could have taken the lead at first, but the hosts’ Alfredo Morelos missed from close range and Piotr Zielinski also aimed just wide. After that, both goalkeepers shone, and especially visiting Alex Meret, who took Morelos’ next big break.
Great things happened after the team change. At 56 ‘James Sands receives the second yellow card for a foul on Giovanni Simeone and the guests kick the eleven.
