Following Champions League results for the first leg in the quarterfinals. There are two home teams winning, while the other two hosts lose.
The first leg matches in the last eight of the Champions League have been completed in the middle of this week, two parties each on Wednesday (7/4) in the morning WIB and Thursday (8/4) in the morning WIB.
In the first two parties, Manchester City and Real Madrid as the home team both won. On the other hand, their opponents also ‘save’ away goals which can be crucial in trying to qualify.
Manchester City recorded a 2-1 victory at home to Borussia Dortmund. Goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden can only be replied to by Marco Reus.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid won 3-1 when Liverpool visited. Vinicius scored two goals for El Real, with one more scored by Marco Asensio. While the Reds scored one goal through Mohamed Salah.
In the two games earlier today, it was the hosts FC Porto and Bayern Munich who both lost together. Porto was bent by Chelsea, while Bayern bowed to Paris Saint-Germain.
Goals from Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell sent the Blues home from Porto with a 2-0 win. From all over Champions League results in the first leg of this quarterfinal, only Chelsea kept a clean sheet.
One other party, Bayern vs PSG, was very fierce, bringing in five goals; two for the home team and three for the visitors.
Kylian Mbappe became the star of PSG’s victory through his two goals. One other goal made by Marquinhos. While Bayern scored his goals through Jean Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Thomas Mueller.
The second leg parties of the Champions League quarter-finals themselves will be held in the middle of next week. There are Chelsea vs Porto and PSG vs Bayern on Wednesday (14/4) in the morning WIB, then Dortmund vs City and Liverpool vs Madrid on Thursday (4/15) in the morning WIB.
