Lewandowski scored a brace (8th, 51st) and became only the second player in Champions League history to score at least 50 goals after reaching the age of 30 (51). Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo holds the record with 68 goals.

Barca jewel Lamine Yamal didn’t play a direct role in the goal on Tuesday evening, but he set a new record. Yamal has now played more Champions League games than any other U18 player in history (9), moving past Jude Bellingham and Warren Zaire-Emery (8 each).

De Jong makes a comeback
After the botched start at AS Monaco (final score 1:2), it was the first win in the current Champions League campaign for Barca, who were hit by injuries. Frenkie de Jong, a long-term injured player, made his comeback and came on for Yamal in the 75th minute.
Marc-André ter Stegen was unable to play against the Young Boys. The German national goalkeeper will be out for around eight months after his horror injury. Polish keeper Wojciech Szczesny will replace the German number one for the rest of the season. The transfer is on the home stretch. Inaki Pena stood between the posts against Bern, but he hardly had anything to do.
