PHILIPP KÖHN – 90 minutes – Grade 5
After two minutes, he regained his self-confidence with a strong save against Robert Lewandowski, which was of little use as the game progressed. With both penalties, the Swiss was loaded in the classic way, the 3-0 is clearly his fault. Of course, Bayern had some luck with the ball – but when you come out of your goal as a goalie, you have to be sure that you can still clear the ball. At 4-0, the 23-year-old, who was in such a strong mood in the first leg, still got his fingers on Gnabry’s sharp shot, but he was no longer able to prevent the impact. He had no chance with the two Müller goals in the second half, and in the 7-1 through Leroy Sane he let the ball hit the short corner.

RASMUS KRISTENSEN – 90 Minutes – Note 5
Very quiet presentation of the otherwise loud Dane. There was nothing to be seen today of the mentality monster who cheers up his young teammates in difficult situations. The 24-year-old was much more overwhelmed than in the second half of the first leg with Kingsley Coman. In the situation that led to the first penalty, Kristensen let himself be played off rather cheaply by the French. Before the 3-0 he could have cleared the ball better, before the 5-0 he couldn’t block Müller’s finish.

OUMAR SOLET – up to the 45th minute – grade 5
You just can’t dismantle a Robert Lewandowski over two games, the Frenchman and his defensive colleagues had to realize that very painfully today. The 22-year-old, who got fit in time after a muscle injury, was not as weak as his team-mates in the back four, but this time there were no strong rescue operations like in the first leg. Solet’s fitness hit at the break and he was replaced by Piatkowski.

MAXIMILIAN WÖBER – 90 minutes – grade 5
A very gloomy evening for the Viennese… He was not particularly skilful with the first penalty foul, but if he hadn’t committed it, Lewandowski would have scored freely. But just a few minutes later falling for the same joke a second time and committing an even more stupid foul simply shouldn’t happen to a man of his quality. He didn’t look good at 3-0 either, when he first lost a header in the making and then couldn’t catch up with Lewandowski. Wöber will not soon forget this evening – even if he would like to.

ANDREAS ULMER – 90 minutes – Grade 5
The “Bulls” captain was unable to lead the way in the Allianz Arena that evening, but instead made a bad pass that had almost serious consequences shortly after kick-off. With Serge Gnabry, the 36-year-old had significantly more problems this time than in the first leg, so he was no longer able to prevent the Bayern right winger from scoring before the 4-0. Like the entire Salzburg back four in the overall picture today, unfortunately simply inferior.

NICOLAS CAPALDO – 90 Minutes – Note 3
He could have turned the game around if he’d converted his sitter after two minutes. However, the Argentinian running prodigy is the least to blame that evening. Although he didn’t succeed in everything, he didn’t give up a ball and always celebrated strong ball conquests.

MOHAMED CAMARA – up to 67 minutes – grade 5
An unusually error-prone and nervous performance by the Malian, who is otherwise so strong on the ball. Again and again the Salzburg six threw in careless turnovers, for example before the 4-0, when he let the ball be stolen from his own sixteen. To make matters worse, he had to leave the field injured in the 67th minute.

NICOLAS SEIWALD – up to the 45th minute – grade 4
Some light, but also a lot of shadows at the Kuchler. The 20-year-old showed nerves from the start and threw in a lot of lack of concentration, but could have equalized the game when the score was 1-0. However, he did not put the ball in the goal from a good position, because the midfielder is anything but a clipper and because Manuel Neuer had something against it. At the break he had to stay in the dressing room.

BRENDEN AARONSON – 90 Minuten, Assist – Note 4
For a long time a breath of nothing at the Salzburg Marathon Man. In the Allianz Arena, the American was unable to dribble, win the ball or pass. Characteristic of a scene in the 57th minute when he failed to apply a simple through ball to Adamu, who was completely free. He did a much better job in the 71st minute, when he prepared Kjaergaard’s 5:1 and at least got a slightly better grade.

JUNIOR ADAMU – up to the 61st minute – grade 5
The Salzburg storm followed seamlessly from the failure of the back team. Adamu in particular didn’t succeed at all until he was substituted in the 61st minute, he couldn’t convert any of the many balls that were played at him. The ÖFB team player was miles away from his strong spring form this time.

KARIM ADEYEMI – up to the 61st minute – grade 5
This performance will play into the hands of the Dortmund negotiators, as this performance was not even worth 40 million euros. Adeyemi started the game with a great run, after which he almost prepared the 1-0, but after that pretty much everything that could go wrong went wrong. After 61 minutes, the 20-year-old was finally redeemed at his home game.

KAMIL PIATKOWSKI – from the 46th minute – grade: 5
The Pole was substituted at half-time, but was also unable to contribute much to a more stable defense. At 5: 0 he gave Müller far too much space, the Bayern star should never be able to turn around his own axis in the penalty area. When Müller made it 6-1, he slipped around randomly.

LUKA SUCIC – ab der 46. Minute – Note 4
The Croat came on for Seiwald at the break, but apart from a few safety passes and an outside instep pass into space, there was little that stood out. Towards the end, however, he was unlucky not to collect an assist with a sugar pass to Benjamin Sesko.

MAURITS KJAERGAARD - from the 61st minute – Note 2
Great weeks for the young Dane! The 18-year-old was recently pushed hard by Matthias Jaissle and was repeatedly used in the unfamiliar striker position. He came on as a substitute in the Allianz Arena after a good hour’s play and less than ten minutes later scored a goal worth seeing – his first goal in the Champions League.

BENJAMIN SESKO – from the 61st minute – grade 4
Immediately after his substitution, he showed with a strong sprint, and there were also a few technical delicacies. But he has to do more with his chance when he ran towards Manuel Neuer alone.
