The first ticket for this year’s Champions League final to be held at Wembley was sealed by Dortmund by beating Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 in Paris. The German side matched their victories at the Parc des Princes (they had also won 1-0 in the first leg), however the hosts were unlucky as they had four goals, all in the same goal! The home side came out stronger at the start and wanted to score a quick goal, but the Westphalians had a very good defensive function. In the 7th minute, Mbappe threatened, but Cobel was in the right position and saved the danger. In the 13th minute, Ramos didn’t find a target and in the 31st minute, Dembele couldn’t score either.
Dortmund came close to scoring in their first organized attack with Donnarumma saving Andegemi’s cross. Great intervention by the Italian goalkeeper.
