In addition to the hot climate, yesterday’s confrontation between the “Blood and Gold” and their Senegalese host was akin to a simple formality. EST having already secured their qualification since the previous day while Teungueth FC have lost all hope of qualifying for the quarter-finals. An absence of stake which, in addition to the hot climate, explains the absence of clear chances during the first 27 minutes of play. Indeed, the first chance of the match was recorded in the 28 ‘and brought news: Taking a direct free kick well kicked at the limit of the 16-meter zone, Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane lodged the ball in the skylight.
