Two British representatives, Manchester United and Arsenallost in the second match of the group phase Liga Champions. Temporary Real Madrid and Inter Milan got three points again.
The second match in the group phase was held from Tuesday (3/10/2023) evening WIB. Some continued on Wednesday (4/10/2023) early morning WIB.
The Group A, Bayern Munich scored their second win after beating FC Copenhagen 2-1. Meanwhile, elsewhere, Manchester United lost 2-3 to Galatasaray at Old Trafford.
In Group B, Arsenal failed to get points when they visited Lens headquarters, after losing 1-2. Meanwhile, the PSV Eindhoven vs Sevilla match ended without a winner with a score of 2-2.
Then in Group C, two matches ended with the same score. Napoli defeated Real Madrid 2-3, while Union Berlin also lost 2-3 to SC Braga at home.
The last match from Group D, Inter Milan were able to overcome Benfica 1-0, and FC Salzburg failed to stem the resistance of their visiting team, Real Sociedad, after losing with a score of 0-2.
The Champions League matches will resume on Wednesday (4/10) evening WIB and Thursday (5/10) early morning WIB. There are Atletico Madrid vs Feyenoord, Borussia Dortmund vs AC Milan, RB Leipzig vs Manchester City, and FC Porto vs Barcelona.
