After 11 seasons in Ligue 2, the Chamois Niortais will now evolve in National 1. An inevitable relegation after the catastrophic season. With only 7 games won this season, the club can no longer hope to maintain itself, and the defeat this Saturday evening in Bastia (2 to 1) sealed its future. A sporting situation which provokes the anger of the supporters to the point that the two clubs, the Ultras of Niort and Niort 1925, published a joint press release in which they request the sale and the departure of the Hanouna brothers who have been in charge of the Chamois since 2020.

The Ultras and Niort 1925 call “club lovers, elected officials, former players, educators, sponsors and supporters” at a rally Saturday, May 20 at 5:30 p.m. outside club headquarters.
